Gibson A-50 1941-42 Mandolin in shop for restringing
This is a nice 1941-42 Gibson mandolin. The 4 digit serial number made it difficult to pinpoint the model and age. This period of mandolin had no lable or headstock stamped number.

Where did you find the Serial number on this one - I have one similar, but it has 1936 A-50 written inside one of the soundholes in pencil, but can't find the serial number.
