Andy Chase Cundiff plays a Falk Guitar

Professional musician and artist (as in painter and recording) plays almost every night of the week for his daily bread. If you get a chance to hear him you will undoubtedly want to book him.

The great voice of Andy Chase Cundiff is on stage tonight accompanied by his Falk Guitar named Chickadee. This man knows all of the songs.

Andy says, "THIS is my favorite time of the year! The summer heat is losing its grip, the leaves are just tipping with the magic colors of Autumn, and if you are in this part of God's good earth, you can catch the aroma of green chile almost everywhere! Come see me..." Of course he is an Amarillo Texan so head on down and have a treat.

SOLD! 1967-68 Martin A style Mandolin & Case FOR SALE

Here is a a sweet instrument for Martin players and collectors. According to Martin’s serial number sight it falls between 1967-68. Over all excellent condition with light scratches and a finish blemish on the top.  Comes with the original hardshell case, a great value in itself. Need to mention there appears to be a slight line in the rim by the end pin. See the pictures. No movement in the rime and the finish is intact. You have to look hard to see it.

Valuation rated on the high side as $1000 and low at $750 with out the case. Of course the seller wants the high valuation but we are pricing to sell at $850.

Materials are Mahogany back, sides, and neck. Sprite top. Original Kluson tuners.  No  great ware to mention. Set up action is very easy. Tone is well projected and deep tone. There is a pickup installed with tailpiece endpin and tests good. This is a lovable instrument ready to play.

New Wood Acquisition- American Black Walnut from Missouri

American Black Walnut
from eastern Missouri

My new friend, lets call him Steve had fell a tree on his property and it was in his way.  Offering the tree to me and I of course took him up on it. Thank goodness he was available to help with processing and moving the tree. It couldn’t have been done without him. His stature, strength and tools allowed us to get the sections on the transport trailer.
Forever indebted to Steve I expect some beautiful instruments from this batch.
